PROFILE

Hakan KOCAMAN graduated from Karadeniz Technical University Faculty of Engineering in June 2011 and completed his master’s degree with thesis at Sakarya University Institute of Science and Technology in January 2019. Since September 2022, he has been continuing his doctorate education at Sakarya University of Applied Sciences Graduate School of Graduate Education.

He worked as a survey engineer for 2 years at Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality Water and Sewerage Administration (SASKİ) General Directorate Planning and Investment Department, where he started his duty in August 2011. He then moved to SASKİ Information Processing Department and worked as Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Chief between 2013-2017 and Software and GIS Branch Manager between 2017-2023. In May 2023, he was appointed as Deputy Secretary General of Sakarya University of Applied Sciences in May 2023, and in addition to this duty, he served as the acting Head of the Department of Information Technologies between November 2023 and July 2025. He is married and has 2 children.
