Kocaman & Kocaman Pro Project
General Description
Kocaman & Kocaman Pro is an application that provides fast and precise solutions to spatial engineering calculations on Android and Windows Phone 8 devices, and all codes are coded by Map Engineer Hakan KOCAMAN. The application consists of 2 parts: Account Modules and GPS Modules. Spatial mathematical operations are performed in the Account Modules section.
In the GPS Modules section, the position information obtained by using the GPS sensor of your device is converted into ED50 and ITRF coordinate values in 3 and 6 degree UTM system. All calculations made by the application in the background are high accuracy and sensitive calculations. However, the UTM coordinates obtained by transforming according to the sensitivity of the WGS84 geographic coordinates obtained by your device directly from the satellites are equally consistent with the WGS84 geographic coordinates. For this reason, it is recommended that Kocaman should be used in general positioning studies rather than your very precise positioning studies. Because in today’s technology, both hand GPS and mobile devices’ GPS sensors cannot obtain WGS84 geographic coordinates in meters gold accuracy directly from satellites.
Privacy Policy
Your location information must be accessible to use GPS Modules. The application does not store your current location information in any place you do not know and does not share it in any environment after it is used in necessary calculations. However, you can still use this information.
