On the left are the density maps resulting from the analysis of the routes and stops of the public transport service provided by the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, prepared as part of my Transportation master’s thesis, which I am carrying out together with Assist. Prof. Dr. Hakan ASLAN of the Department of Civil Engineering at Sakarya University. In the next stage of the study, we plan to use district- and neighbourhood-based population data and to analyse how this population can access the lines and stops. Today, one of the possibilities provided by the advances in mobile device technologies and increasing social media applications is the use of map bases in every sense. Although most of the map bases (Google Map, Bing Map, etc.) are commercial, Open Street Map (OSM for short) is an open source, ad-free and non-commercial map application used in many mobile applications. The Kocaman Pro app for iOS, which I develop together with Computer Engineer Ümit T. AKGÖL, has been updated. With this update, users on iOS finally have the GPS Survey module they had been waiting for for some time. This means there is no longer any difference in the number of modules between Kocaman Pro for Android and Kocaman Pro for iOS. In line with our users’ requests and expectations, the GPS Survey module of Kocaman Pro for iOS has been redesigned around project-based recording, a little differently from Android. You can see the release notes below and download the app for phones and tablets running iOS from the App Store or from here.
