In this video, which I prepared for the installation and configuration of Oracle, ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Desktop, the ArcSDE installation is shown. If you are planning to install ArcGIS Server 10.3 or later, you do not need to install ArcSDE. In fact, with ArcGIS 10.3 the ArcSDE software was moved to the client side (for detailed information on the subject, see: https://blogs.esri.com/esri/supportcenter/2015/02/11/where-is-the-install-for-arcsde-10-3/). The next video will show the ArcGIS Server Configuration.
